A CD Power/Genaust team, led by Martin Oates recently returned from West Australia after completing another standby power upgrade to an Air Services Australia radar tracking station. The facility, in Kalamunda, Perth is one of many located across Australia, and integral to the safe management of local air space. CD Power’s new AS3000/AS310 compliant installation, replaces a 50 year old Lister Blackstone appliance, and includes:

  • 100kVA genset with a Cummins engine
  • a complete distribution system upgrade with switchboards for non-essential, essential and auxiliary distribution. A mobile gen transfer switch, battery charging system, plus two additional distribution boards.
  • Diesel gen controller
  • 250 amp 3pole/4 pole transfer switch with circuit breakers
